The videos and projections in this section are superimposed onto architectural spaces or structures. The presence of moving image work adds a sense of spatial instability and a collison of narrative threads. The projection of flickering and fragmented images breaks up the static rectangluar format and throws light and images around the space to create a kind of expanded reading of place and location. Influences include Lis Rhodes and Guy Sherwin.
Luis Buñuel succinctly sums up some of the ideas that inform this work -
